Green Card Lottery

The Green Card Lottery is starting again.

The Lottery is open for entries from noon on Tuesday October 4, 2011 until noon Saturday, November 5, 2011.

The Green Card Lottery provides an incredible change to win legal permanent status in the United States. For 50,000 lucky winners, the American dream will come true. You could be one of them.

The Green Card Lottery only has two main requirements:

• You have to be born in a country eligible to participate in the Lottery; and
• You have to have at least a high school degree or equivalent work experience.

Most natives find themselves on the list of eligible nations. Only natives the following countries cannot participate:

BRAZIL, CANADA, CHINA (mainland-born), COLOMBIA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, ECUADOR, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HAITI, INDIA, JAMAICA, MEXICO, PAKISTAN, PHILIPPINES, PERU, RUSSIA, SOUTH KOREA, UNITED KINGDOM (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and VIETNAM.

Persons born in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan are eligible.

Please note, nationals of Poland are now allowed to participate in the lottery!!!

U.S. Immigration does not charge a fee for the participation in the Lottery.
